It's hard to write about Advance Publications without also writing about The Cleveland Plain Dealer in neighboring Ohio.The Cleveland, Ohio, newspaper can trace its roots to 1842. In 1967, The Cleveland Plain Dealer was purchased by Newhouse Publications for $54.2 million.
