    Ahhh, the intoxicating smell of developer, or was it fixer?

    How many newsroom romances were born inside a darkroom with only the red lights on.

    Having been a photographer (a bad one) as well as a writer at a couple of weeklies I know the joy of watching an image start coming into focus in the magic liquid.

    Photoshop will never replace the thrills of seeing what develops. But I don't miss the chemical smells.
